Homemade Coffee Liqueur one of the key ingredients in the popular drink Espresso martini, the coffee liqueur is also sometimes, or actually many times known as Kahlua. Coffee liqueur is very diverse and perfect for baking, drinks and desserts
Coffee Liqueur - Sous Vide
Recipe to make the most amazing homemade coffee liqueur in Sous Vide, perfect for Espresso Martini!
Equipment
- Sous Vide
- Zip lock bag
Ingredients
- 750 ml Vodka
- 950 ml Strong black coffee
- 260 g Granulated sugar
- 60 g Whole coffee beans
- 2 pcs splitted vanilla beans or 20G vanilla extract
Instructions
- Set Sous Vide at 63 degrees celcius
- Split the vanilla beans
- Combine all ingredients in the large zip lock bag and place in sous vide for 3 hours
- After 1,5 hours, stir the ingredients in the bag to make sure the sugar is dissolved
- After 3 hours remove the bag from the sous vide and let the content rest in the bag for 1 hour
- Strain into a bottle
Notes
Can be stored up to 12 months in dark rooms not too hot, in an air tight bottle
